Join former Kentucky poet laureate and watershed topophile Richard Taylor at Rock House Brewing on Saturday, May 25, for an afternoon of poetry, history, and music celebrating the Elkhorn Creek watershed.
The historic Elkhorn Creek watershed drains parts of Fayette, Clark, Woodford, and Franklin counties. Its waters, flora, and fauna have supported thousands of years of human habitation and inspired untold acts of creative wonder.
This is the first in our Current Works series of events that connect Kentucky watersheds, regional authors, and the interested public in an informal, engaging setting.
The ticket price of $20 includes delicious craft brews, appetizers, poetry readings, music, and diluvial panels. The event begins at 11:00 AM.
